Use a Printed Photo Book to Show Clients What You Can Do

When you are invested in growing your photography business, there are a number of things that you’ll need to do:

  • You’ll need to look at what type of clients you are trying to target
  • You’ll need to look at managing your studio so that it serves your purposes - something that can mean hiring an assistant, a marketing pro and knowing when it’s time to look for a larger space to work in or choosing digital or film cameras
  • You’ll need to look at setting yourself apart

With a printed photo book, you can show your clients what you’re capable of doing for them.

You can’t show a client what it’s like to have time in your studio, but you can use a printed photo book to show them the full results of the time you spend with your clients. You can’t just tell your clients that you can create a one of a kind photograph, but you can use a printed photo book to share images that stop them in their tracks and says, without a doubt, “I’m the right photographer to capture the photo; no one else is right for you.”

Photographers are visual artists; your skills aren’t necessarily verbal. With a printed photo book, you are able to show off what you do best - capturing moments and events, emotions and scenes in an artistic way. After all, that’s something that cannot be explained; it’s something that needs to be shown.
