Printed Photo Books Can Help to Preserve Memories
Some families experience many challenges. As a photographer, your job is not to point out those challenges; when you take portraits of a family in crisis, your job is to capture the love and joy that lies under the chaos.
When you are a portrait photographer - especially if one of your skills or specialties involves shooting families - one way in which you can make a tremendous impact is to take family photos for those families who have been touched by illness. After those shoots, capturing the best shots in a printed photo books is a great way to collect the photos and preserve memories of the good times.
Some photographers may choose to shoot these families and create printed photo books as a donation: as something to help a family while they are struggling. Others may create a special portrait package, or to choose to work with families who want to create awareness. Rather than using printed photo books as a portrait album, they may choose to publish photos in a book hoping to raise money for additional research for a cause.
Preserving the good memories is something that every family is looking for. Some just count on it a lot more than others. As a photographer, offering printed photo books creates an opportunity for you to help others focus on what’s important to them.
