Photo Book Design Tips: Feel Free to Take Risks
One of the best design tips that a photographer can receive is simple: don’t be afraid to take risks when you create a photo book to showcase your work.
Designing a photo book allows you to take risks that are greater than those that you might take with either the camera or with your photo editing software. When you’re designing yur photo book, you will find that you are able to choose colors, layouts and text that seems a bit outside of your typical comfort zone.
Taking risks is something that’s important within the design field (which may be part of why there are more designers who start taking their own photos rather than photographers who go on to become designers). It’s the willingness to take risks that create great marketing campaigns - the ones that everyone remembers.
It’s that same sort of willingness to take risks while you are designing photo books that will make your books memorable - both when you show them to clients and when you use them as a portfolio with gallery owners. In other words - be bold.

It would be great if you could show examples in these blog post.
