Printed Photo Books Allow You To Look at Your Own Work Objectively

As photographers, we become accustomed to having other people take a look at our work - particularly when our work in often done for hire and we merely are capturing moments in a client’s life. What we don’t always find ourselves doing is looking at our own work and seeing it for what it is.

When we create printed photo books, we give ourselves the opportunity to step back from the shots that we have taken and to see the beauty that is in them for all that it has to offer, to see our work as it is.

By selecting the right photos for a photo book, we can be sure that we are seeing a broad representation of our work - and that allows us to see the ways in which we have grown and the ways in which we have begun to see things differently.

By adding text to the printed photo books, we are able to add another dimension to our work as well; we’re able to express what our inspirations are and our own appreciation for the work.

Creating printed photo books is a relatively simple process - especially when you’re using the right tools. By documenting work and progress over time, it’s possible to move forward in ways that we may not have fully recognized before.
