Perception of Value: What You Can Give Your Clients
When you are running a photography business, you’re going to want to be sure that you are able to give your clients the best possible services at the best possible prices - but that’s not to say that you should lower your prices; instead, it’s all about perception of value.
Your clients’ perception of the value of your work is going to dictate whether or not they are willing to pay for your work. Whether you are a wedding photographer whose complete package includes the production of a printed photo book rather than a more traditional wedding album or you offer your photography services to local businesses and you want to be able to show them all that you have to offer, you’ll find that printed photo books provide you with the opportunity to showcase your best efforts.
In order for your clients - and your potential clients - to be comfortable coming to you when they need a photographer, you are going to need to show them that the prices that you charge are worth paying; by presenting printed photo books to your clients, you’ll find that you are able to show case your work and to provide all of the explanation they need about why you’re the right photographer for them.
